-Travel documents
While traveling within and outside any country, travel documents are always necessary. Horses must always travel with an identification document (e.g passport) and a health certificate.
F2F works closely with transporters that specialize in the road transport of horses. These transporters gather horses throughout the country on a daily basis in order to be at the airports on time for transport abroad. F2F organizes this transportation and takes care of the necessary documents.
Horses must always travel with a health certificate. F2F organizes necessary export documents for traveling around the world. While traveling to shows, or to transit countries are traces documents necessary. F2F is specialized in preparing traces and to inform which other necessary handlings need to be done.
-The isolation period
F2F takes the isolation period very seriously. The regulations and conditions are accurately complied with. In addition, the animals receive excellent care.
Virtually, when traveling internationally especially, every country requires an isolation period before the horses are allowed to be transported, apart from America and a few other countries. During this isolation period, also called pre-export quarantine (PEQ), the horses are under veterinary supervision.
The isolation period starts after an inspection by the USDA APHIS, DEFRA, NVWA, etc… of the isolation space and the animals. The duration depends on the requirements of the exporting country. For example, the horses from China or South Africa must remain in solitary confinement for 30 days.
F2F has 43 stables accessible and available at our strategic locations, including 15 new stables of 300 x 350 centimeters, including a luxury washing area and a solarium. These stables are not all in one area. F2F has divided the stables into compartments so that several countries can be put into isolation. Only authorized stable personnel have access to these areas. The quarantine department has a separate access to the riding arena, so you can continue to train your horse.
